Polanica-Zdrój is a holiday resort with unique lodge development. Town is located 420 m above sea level in Kłodzko County.
Thanks to mild submontane climate and presence of plenty mineral springs Polanica is a great place to rest and to treat circulatory system and alimentary canal diseases. Great place to break smoking habit, too.
The spa is surrounded by beautiful park, full of old trees and exotic shrubs: multicolored rhododendrons and magnolias. Polanica has very good therapeutic, recreational, sport and tourist base.
Every year many interesting nationwide and international events takes place in the town, like the annual Akiba Rubinstein Memorial chess tournament, the amateur film festival POL-8, as well as chamber and organ music concerts performed by worldwide famous artists.
Besides of its great curative base, Polanica has many recreational installations, like swimming pools, tennis courts, stables, theater (Teatr Zdrojowy), town library and billiard clubs. And, of course, complete gastronomical infrastructure, too.
